URBANA -- A neighborhood is shining bright for the holidays.

Urbana's Candlestick Lane lived up to its name Saturday night. Almost 100 people gathered to see each home's decorations turn on one by one.

Santa Claus and Frosty the Snow Man even made an appearance to the ceremony. Spectators and their pets showed their Christmas spirit by dressing up.

Candlestick lane holds the lighting every year and neighbors say it's an important tradition. People are welcome to walk or drive through the neighborhood.

Neighbors ask that cars turn off their headlights and keep on their parking lights. The decorations will be lit every day from 5pm-10pm until Christmas.
