Police search for murder suspect

DANVILLE-- Police are searching for a man in connection with the murder of a teenager.

Police have issued an arrest warrant for Derrick Miller, 33, of Danville. The warrant is for murder and aggravated battery with no bond.

Miller is accused of killing Scottie Polk, 19, on Sunday. Polk was found by a passerby lying in the street at Lape and Fairweight.

Miller is described as a black male, 5'8", 170 pounds. He is considered armed and dangerous.
