Paul named national player of the week

CHAMPAIGN - The honors keep rolling in for Brandon Paul.  The Illini senior was named the Oscar Robertson National Player of the Week today by the U.S. Basketball Writers Association.

Paul scored a game-high 35 points in the win over No. 10 Gonzaga Saturday night.  This honor comes one day after Paul was named Big Ten Player of the Week.
