CHAMPAIGN -- Santa stopped by an elementary school for an early holiday celebration. The American Legion Unit 559 teamed up with a Beardsley Park group for their annual Christmas party. It was at Stratton Elementary.

Kids had the chance to ask Santa what they wanted for Christmas. He gave out balloons that were donated by a Champaign business. Eighty-one children came to have a free dinner and enjoy the party. All the presents Santa gave out were donated by the community.
