CHAMPAIGN -- A city council member's election petition is being challenged.  Will Kyles is running against Gina Jackson in district one.  He gathered signatures to get on the April ballot but former mayor Dan McCollum is questioning those signatures.  Kyles says it is all apart of the political process.

A hearing on the petition is set for Tuesday.  McCollum could not be reached for comment.
