CHAMPAIGN -- Public works says no snow means better business. They told us they were expecting to see a little white by December 1st.

But they're not complaining. They say this weather is doing nothing but good.

Public works says no snow means better service for their customers. They have more time to fill potholes and sweep the streets.

They can easily head out on complaints. A lot of people love seeing snow this time of year. We headed out to the streets to get your opinion.

"It's easier to get to work that's for sure. It's better not having to come out and scrape the ice off your car that takes awhile to get it to warm it up. The cold weather definitely puts a damper on time restrictions," Eric Warrner said.

Public Works says if snow comes, they're ready. They've been prepared for it since August.
