Lawmakers in Washington have been arguing over a plan to keep the country from going over the fiscal cliff.
But what happens to central Illinois if leaders in the capitol don't come to an agreement?
Kelly Barbour-Conerty, a professor at Parkland, helps put that answer in perspective.
