TILTON -- Workers at Imagine Salon are looking for people who need coats. That's because they started a coat drive three weeks ago. Since then, they've been cutting hair next to piles of jackets, gloves and scarves, which is more than they ever expected.

"We haven't turned away any coat, we haven't turned away any need," said Kim Ingram.

She came up with the idea of the coat drive turning the salon into a temporary coat rack.

"Beth can't do pedicures right now because, as you see, we have no place for pedicures right now,"said Ingram.

"There's actually an access to our basement and our Christmas decorations so we're hoping we can distribute some of this and we'll decorate for Christmas," said salon owner, Beth Stahl.

The women simply asked for coats on Facebook.

"I would say by the end of the first week we had 30 new coats in the salon," said Ingram.

Since then they've gotten hundreds more.

"We had no idea what was going to happen," said Stahl.

"Our clients have been amazing," said Ingram.

Now they are looking to do some "winter" cleaning but they need your help first.

"As you can see we can help a lot more people," said Stahl. "We were called angels the other day and that's kind of neat."

"This has just been awesome and we're gonna do it again next year. We might have to get a bigger salon but we're gonna do it," said Ingram.
