"Remembering Robert Reese" wristbands

Updated: December 5, 2012
CHAMPAIGN -- WBGL is inviting you to remember Robert Reese and help support his family in the process. The WCIA-3 News meteorologist and WBGL weatherman lost his battle with cancer in October.

Friday, WBGL kicked off its "ECHO 7:20" campaign. It's selling customized wristbands with all proceeds going to Robert's family.

The wristbands display the WBGL logo and "ECHO 7:20" on one side. "ECHO" is intended as a reminder to remember Robert's impact on the community on a daily basis. 7:20 is the time he joined the WBGL Morning Show on weekdays.

The inside of the wristband reads, "Remembering Robert Reese."
