New "outdoor officers" sworn in

SPRINGFIELD -- The state welcomes a new class of conservation police. It's the first new batch of officers in more than five years.

They'll handle any outdoor issues like wildlife and natural disasters. The recruits have been in training since September.

A unique twist to this class? It's made up entirely of military veterans. That's never happened before.
