ILLINOIS -- A truck driver who hit and killed an Illinois State Trooper last week is losing his license. Kyle Deatherage was doing a traffic stop on I-55 when he was hit.

The truck driver says he lost consciousness right before the accident. The U.S. Department of Transportation is stripping him of his commercial license. It says he didn't disclose a medical condition which would have disqualified him from driving for the trucking company.
