GEORGETOWN -- This Kid to Know is thinking of others, specifically troops who won't be home for Christmas. Trinity Dawson has family members and friends in the military.

It got her thinking about everyone serving overseas this holiday season. So the sophomore at Bismarck-Henning  High School started a Christmas card drive.

She put collection boxes at more than a dozen places around Vermilion County. She hopes to fill them to the top with cards that are homemade, store bought, pictures, you name it.

She has filled 13 boxes so far. She's waiting until the end of the drive to count them.
