MATTOON -- A man tried to skip town after police caught him in the middle of a burglary. Chad Moran was arrested early Monday morning in Neoga.

Police say that's where he ditched a car. It started at "Mark's My Store" off Marion Avenue. An officer patrolling nearby heard glass break and saw Moran. The 34-year old ran to his car and sped south.

He was caught about 15-minutes later. Police say the car he was driving was stolen from Decatur.
