Two accused of car burglary

SAVOY -- Two teens face charges for allegedly burglarizing a vehicle. It happened in the 800-block of Wesley about 10:30 pm, Monday night.

Two subjects were reportedly seen getting into a car and leaving the area. Champaign County Sheriff's deputies stopped the vehicle and say they found physical evidence of a car burglary.

17-year old Jordin Wease, of Tolono, and 17-year old Kavoscea Simmons, of Champaign, are charged with burglary to a motor vehicle. Officials are looking at similar burglaries in Savoy, Tolono and Champaign to see if the teens may have been involved.
