State agency promotes buying locally

SPRINGFIELD -- The Illinois Department of Agriculture is launching a holiday contest to promote buying locally. "25 days of Christmas" kicked off this weekend.

Anyone is welcome to play, but you must first become a fan on the agency's Twitter or Facebook page. A new winner will be picked daily and get one of many prizes donated by Illinois' businesses.
