CHAMPAIGN -- People are enjoying unusually warm weather in December. Most would agree it's not beginning to look a lot like Christmas. The holiday season has seen some unusually warm weather.

You wouldn't expect temperatures to hit the mid-60's in December, but they did. Families enjoyed the weather in Hessel Park.

Many kids played on slides and swings. Bikers and joggers were also out and about. Some people said Mother Nature has given them an early Christmas present.

"It does not feel like December, not at all. It's really nice out here. I love it a lot," says Nick Bamert.

He spent the day playing with his two younger cousins. They said this weather is a holiday treat, as long as we still get a white Christmas.
