House fire

DECATUR -- Firefighters are investigating how a home went up in flames. It happened Friday night at 1007 West Green Street.

The home was vacant at the time. No one was injured. But, the fire melted the vinyl siding on a neighboring house.

Crews had the flames under control in a half-hour. Damage is estimated at $20,000.
