Motorcycle driver killed in crash

DECATUR -- One person was killed and another landed in jail after a motorcycle accident. 60-year old Mark Howard was struck at 5:00 am Saturday at the intersection of Martin Luther King and Eldorado Street.

Police say a man driving a car blew through a traffic light hitting the motorcycle. Howard died later at the hospital.

The driver fled the scene, but police caught him at Wabash Crossing. They say he had been drinking.
