SPRINGFIELD -- Governor Quinn is hinting he'll try to keep his job two years from now. The governor has told reporters he's thinking about running for re-election.

It comes amid sobering news of what voters think about the job he's doing. A poll found only 25% of voters approve of Quinn.

State's Attorney General Lisa Madigan could be a contender. She's polling highest among democrats.

State Senator Kirk Dillard and State Treasurer Dan Rutherford lead the poll for republicans. None has formally announced a run for the state's top job.
