FAIRMOUNT -- A Vermilion County gas station sold a ticket worth $1 million in Wednesday's Powerball drawing. The winner has yet to come forward, but Casey's on Main Street says dozens have called or come by since then.

The winner will join 65 others getting $1 million. The store manager says around 95% of the tickets they sell are to Fairmount residents.

Even those out-of-towners know someone who lives in the area. The station has had a couple of $1,000 winning tickets in the past, but nothing this size.

"Someone will have a good Christmas," says store manager Janet Jackson. "It's good for the area. It shows not just the large cities win, you can win anywhere."

Two tickets sold in Arizona and Missouri had the numbers for the record prize of nearly $588 million.
