CHAMPAIGN - It seems like it is a different player stepping up every night for the Illinois basketball team.  In Maui, it was Brandon Paul bringing home MVP honors; Tyler Griffey saved them against Gardner-Webb; and last night Joseph Bertrand stole the show.

It was Bertrand's personal 10-0 run late in the second half that helped propel Illinois past Georgia Tech in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.  But the play everyone is still talking about is he driving layup over a defender that sent Assembly Hall into a frenzy.
