PBL to reject Okaw Valley invitation

Updated: November 28, 2012
PAXTON - PBL High School will stay put in the Sangamon Valley Conference and will reject an invitation to join the new Okaw Valley Conference, PBL athletic director John Overstreet said Wednesday.  The school had until December 14 to accept or reject the offer.

Overstreet says PBL has been committed to staying in the Sangamon Valley and are now actively working to expand the conference.  They officially added Dwight earlier this week and have now invited Gardner South Wilmington as well.
