Union raises in jeopardy

SPRINGFIELD -- State workers could face a blow to their paychecks. The house voted to end union raises for this year. Lawmakers say there is not enough money in the budget.

AFSCME has been fighting with the state over last year's cancelled raises. Lawmakers say this way they will not have to break any more contract promises.
