SPRINGFIELD -- State lawmakers are saying goodbye to a WCIA-3 News friend in a very special way. Tuesday, they adopted a resolution honoring meteorologist Robert Reese.

Representative Chapin Rose (R) filed it. The resolution details Robert's whole career, even mentioning his love of zombies.

Rose says he's known Robert since Rose was a lifeguard at a Tuscola pool. He says Robert deserved the honor.

Rose hopes to bring Robert's family to Springfield and read the resolution on the house floor. After searching the General Assembly's website, no other bill could be found containing the word "zombie."
