SPRINGFIELD -- Lawmakers may be considering hitting up satellite TV subscribers to pay a little more. They're weighing benefits of a  5% tax hike.

The state senate passed it in May. The state house could vote on it during the veto session, or before the new General Assembly takes over in January. If it passes, lawmakers say it could raise $75 million/year for education.
