Teen hit by car

PEORIA -- A teen is recovering after getting hit by a car Monday afternoon. It happened at the intersection of Nebraska and Knoxville.

The 15-year-old was walking home from school at the time. She was taken to the hospital to be treated for a broken leg and other non-life threatening injuries.
