District leader steps down amid scandal

SPRINGFIELD -- An area school leader is stepping down after a scandal involving high school teacher, Jennifer Tyree. She's accused of having sex with two students at Lanphier High.

Wednesday, the district's human resources director stepped down. It was found Tyree wasn't qualified to teach high school. The district is currently rechecking certifications for all its teachers.
