DECATUR -- Not only is "Small Business Saturday" good for small business owners, but it's also good for shoppers. There were more shoppers than usual downtown Saturday afternoon.

There were no long lines though. Shoppers say going to smaller stores is less stressful and more fun. Plus, shoppers can pick up more unique local gifts.

Many of the stores were also running specials like big chains do. They say they want to make "Small Business Saturday" as big of a shopping day as Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
