Salvation need

CHAMPAIGN -- Temperatures are dropping and not everyone can get away from it. People at the Salvation Army say this is the time of year when they're the busiest, but it's also the time they're lacking most in donations. Shoes, books or winter clothes, any little thing people can give helps.

"We're trying to support our own community. The things that we do for each other, are the things that make us go," assistant manager April McKibben said.
