Maroa-Forsyth defeated Stockton 48-24 in the Class A State football
championship. Jack Hockaday tied a 1A state record with four rushing
touchdowns. The Trojans took a 20-0 lead into halftime. Stockton rallied
in the third quarter to take the lead before Maroa-Forsyth rallied to
win. It is the first state title for the Trojans since 2006.
