CHAMPAIGN -- Serious shoppers are uniting at their favorite stores to fight for the best Black Friday deals. Some people waiting in line at Best Buy got there around 5:00 pm. The store doesn't open until midnight Friday.

One of those people is Ronda Stephens. This is her fourth year waiting at Best Buy. Last year she was 23rd in line and didn't get anything she wanted, so she made sure to be first in line this year. Stephens has her eyes on a TV and an X-Box. She says, besides the great deals, she loves the rush she feels when it's time to trample in.

Best Buy is ready for all its Black Friday shoppers. They have porta-potties out for customers and they passed out food. The line won't start getting really busy until about midnight on Thursday.

If you can't make it out Friday, there's still Saturday to get in plenty of shopping. Champaign is participating in Small Business Saturday. To check out which stores are in, click here.
