Updated: November 21, 2012

The man we know as "Mr. Food," Art Ginsburg, passed away today. He was 81 years old. He died at his Florida home after battling pancreatic cancer. Art is the founder of Mr. Food and was one of the first celebrity chefs. In a statement on the Mr. Food website, co-workers say his can-do recipes and passion for helping others made him well-loved among his peers. They say his greatest love was for his wife, Ethel and his family.
