CHAMPAIGN -- Bus service in Southwest Champaign could be coming back. The Southwest MTD voted to consider dissolving Tuesday night.

Southwest and Champaign-Urbana MTD have been in a battle for years over service. Southwest was formed to keep city buses out of the area, but with the new YMCA and 75% of homeowners in the area paying taxes to both districts, there's a push to change. Southwest directors will vote again in three months.
