URBANA -- A military mom is being called a hero for helping the ones who fight overseas. Lori Stewart won the Chevrolet "Our Town, Our Heroes" contest.

It focused on people who support the military and encourage their community to help as well. Stewart started a program called "Toys for Troops" five years ago.

The charity hosts fundraisers and collects gifts to send to military members all over the world. Stewart's prizes include a $500 gift card. She says the money will go right back to Toys for Troops.
