Local Hostess workers let go

CHAMPAIGN -- Tuesday was the last day for the local Hostess store after company leaders decided to liquidate the business. Last week, talks with striking workers failed.

Employees at this store on Bloomington say they're now out of work. Everything in the store was marked half off, but many shelves were already bare.

Company leaders met with union reps to try to reach a deal, but workers here doubt it will help them. They hope to qualify for unemployment benefits.
