SPRINGFIELD -- The superintendent of the city's public schools will address the school board Monday. It's in response to accusations an English teacher had sex with two students.

Jennifer Tyree was arrested after accusations from one student surfaced. A second student came forward Friday.

Tyree's resume is also in question. The district learned she doesn't have the qualifications needed to teach high school. The district changed her status from paid administrative leave to unpaid leave.

The district has 30 days to decide if she'll keep her job. It also plans to evaluate its hiring practices.

SPRINGFIELD -- A teacher accused of having sex with a student could face more charges. Police say a second student has come forward claiming he also had a sexual relationship with Jennifer Tyree.

The 36-year old teaches English at Lanphier High School. She's been put on paid administrative leave.

Besides this latest claim, other details are surfacing about Tyree's educational background. School leaders say she didn't have the qualifications needed to teach high school.

She's supposed to have what's called an "endorsement," but records show she never received one. School district representatives didn't return our calls to explain how that qualification could have been overlooked. District leaders met Friday to discuss her future, but no word on their decision was made public.
