DECATUR -- It's stuff a lot of us take for granted, a hot shower, a big meal and a haircut. The Coalition for Veterans Concerns teamed up with Homeward Bound to put an event together.

The Old King's Orchard Center was packed full. All the agencies in attendance are aimed at helping veterans and the homeless get back on their feet.

Employers even had information about job openings. Veterans hope this leads to better times. Every social service agency in the city attended the event.
