UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS -- Students asked their peers to say an important phrase today, "I quit." It's all part of the Great American Smokeout.

People all over Central Illinois handed out "quit kits," full of tips to break the habit. Students with "Colleges Against Cancer" handed them out stressing to others how it's a life-or-death decision.
