MONTICELLO -- A popular bike trail is back open. It had to be closed after a bridge caught fire in June. Several teens were playing with fireworks when a spark started the blaze.

Repairs cost about $40,000. It was actually a lot less than city officials expected. Crews were also able to open the trail ahead of schedule.
