BLOOMINGTON -- A man accused of robbing a bank didn't get far before police caught up to him. Police say 49-year old Clifton Smith held up the Commerce Bank on Center Street Tuesday afternoon.

Investigators say he took off with cash, and was recognized ten minutes later by a detective at a convenience store. When the detective confronted Smith, he reportedly responded, "You got me." Police say the stolen money was recovered.
