CHAMPAIGN -- A popular spot for a burger and dessert shut its doors for good, while another is just getting started. "Juniors Burgers and Custard" went out of business last week.

The restaurant had been in its location on West Springfield Avenue since 2007. The owner says the costs of running the place were getting too expensive.

He didn't want to have to raise his menu prices to stay open. He says the closing is just another example of the tough economy.

Meanwhile, another burger joint opened. "Five Guys Burgers and Fries" in officially opened Monday. Almost 50 people work there, but the manager says they're still accepting applications.
