Resignation may follow re-election

CHICAGO -- Illinois Congressman Jesse Jackson, Jr., may resign just days after being re-elected. There are reports his attorney entered negotiations for a plea deal. It would include his resignation from congress and possible jail time.
He's charged with misusing campaign funds and has entered into virtual hiding since he began treatment for a bipolar disorder in June. If Jackson resigns, there will be a special election to pick his replacement.
