Renewing parade worthwhile

QUINCY -- Hundreds lined downtown streets in waves of red, white and blue. The 5th Annual Veterans Day parade was a small thanks to past, present and future military service personnel. People entered in the parade showed their thanks in a number of ways.
The parade wasn't always around. After a 35 year hiatus, veteran Jim Ponsot thought it was time to get people marching down the streets again.
Many veteran organizations around the tri-state area participated in the parade. Ponsot hopes to continue the parade tradition for years to come.
