CHAMPAIGN-- Seniors shared Thanksgiving with other seniors Saturday night. The Heavenly 7 held its Senior Citizen Thanksgiving Dinner.

It's a group of men who give back to the community through different fundraisers though out the year. It was held at the Jericho Missionary Baptist Church.

The dinner gives the elderly a chance to meet and mingle, especially those who don't have family around the holidays. Dozens came to enjoy the free meal and celebrate with other seniors.

Willie Hamilton, a Heavenly 7 member says, he likes to host the dinner, "because we make everybody happy, put a smile on the senior citizens' face, you know what I mean? We enjoy doing that."

This is the 6th year for the dinner.
