URBANA -- Preschoolers got a lesson in fire safety. Students at Washington School learned who to call in an emergency.

Fire crews also talked to them about what to do if there's a fire. The kids got a chance to practice getting out of the house.

Officials say it's never too early to learn about fire safety. Crews return next week to hold a bigger assembly. They'll show off gear and equipment.
