Teen dies after fall from truck

VERMILION COUNTY -- A 17-year old Danville teen was killed after falling from the back of a pick-up. Police say Dakota Houldridge was holding onto mattresses in the back of his father's truck when a gust of wind shifted the load causing him to fall.

It happened Monday evening about 7:45 on Perrysville Road. He was taken to the hospital and died Tuesday morning. The accident is under investigation.
