More key races worth watching

ILLINOIS -- There are also some high profile races for the General Assembly as well. The 52nd State Senate race covers portions of Champaign and Vermilion counties. It features incumbent Mike Frerichs and republican John Bambenek.

Also, the 48th State Senate race is one to watch, pitting Andy Manar against Decatur Mayor Mike McElroy.

All eyes in Champaign-Urbana will watch the race for the 103rd State House. Incumbent democrat Naomi Jakobsson is up against republican business owner Rob Meister.

The 104th State House race touches parts of Champaign, Vermilion and Ford counties. Incumbent Chad Hays is up against democrat Michael Langendorf for that position.
