Police investigate double shooting

BLOOMINGTON -- Police are investigating a double shooting. It happened on the city's east side, in the 1200-block of Orchard Road, about 4:15 pm, Monday.
Two men were taken to the hospital with wounds to the back and thigh. Neither injury was thought to be life-threatening. Another person, a juvenile, was taken to the hospital with injuries reportedly sustained from a battery near the scene.
The victims told police they were approached from behind and didn't see the shooters. Other witnesses reported seeing a group of men run up just prior to hearing gunfire.
