Outside money coming into Illinois' campaigns

SPRINGFIELD -- On the national level, there's a ton of campaign cash coming into Illinois from outside sources. The latest campaign filing shows outside groups and donors have spent $42 million on house races here.

That's because there are a lot of close races which could potentially change the balance of power in Washington. One race is in the 13th District.

That race is one of the most 10 expensive congressional races in the country. It's currently at $8 million.
