Thousands vote early
Updated: November 5, 2012
"I think this election is pretty critical," voter Tracy Drake said.
Drake is a first time early voter, for a reason that's very important to her.
"I wanted to make sure that I got it done. There were no issues that it was taken care of."
A line wrapped around the county clerk's office all morning and at 7 other polling places. Voters are making sure the people on these signs get the title they deserve.
"If you don't vote, you give up your right to have anything to say about how the country is run."
Something voters here are passionate about. But not everyone had the best luck.
Some had issues with registration and address changes. But thousands came prepared to vote for their futures.
"I have a four year old daughter, what happens on Tuesday, the outcome of the election, affects her future," Drake said.
All polling places in Champaign, Vermilion, Macon and Sangamon counties are open from 6 am to 7 pm on Election Day.
